The Beginning

Ever since people started grouping together to create villages, towns, and cities, trash & other waste has always been a problem.

Today, we are fortunate enough to live in a place where managing waste isn’t that difficult but there are still some neglected areas in waste management, one being the cleanliness of trash bins! For many people, a dirty trash bin may not be a huge issue but for those of us that live in areas with regulations on when our trash bins can be visible, how long they can be out, and where they can be stored, a smelly bin can be a huge problem for home and business owners alike.

Until recently, there really hasn’t been a solid solution to a smelly bin other than just cleaning it yourself, usually with bleach and a water hose and dumping that chemical hazard down the gutter, which isn’t the environmentally correct option.

The Solution

Over the past 2-3 years, a new service has been popping up in cities all across Canada. Trash bin cleaning services are taking off like wildfire as the need for this service has suddenly been realized and the technology now exists to efficiently and effectively service a large market. Most of these companies, including Master Blasters Co, operate extremely efficient cleaning rigs specialized in cleaning, sanitizing and deodorizing waste carts.

This equipment uses specialized pressure washing setups to thoroughly clean the inside of the waste bins, usually without the need for harsh chemicals, and collects the waste water for proper disposal away from your home or business. You might ask how can this be effective without the use of chemicals? The answer is a combination of temperature, water volume, and water pressure. Most bacteria is killed when temps reach 160 degrees F and a properly built bin cleaner will be operating with hot water output at near 200 degrees F.

Many bacteria are killed instantly when temps reach 160 degrees F. Our bin cleaners get well about that temperature.

That extremely hot water sanitizes bins and when mixed with the appropriate flow rate and pressure, it also does an amazing job of quickly stripping away
